Dr. Ravindra Pathak Ravi joined the group in February 2010 to carry out research on the design and synthesis of drug carrier molecules to improve oral bioavailability of pharmaceuticals via the PepT1 transporter. Ravi is now conducting research on insect pheromones in a project with Prof Gordon Hamilton and working on antimalarial compounds in collaboration with Paul Horrocks, Tess Phillips and Tony Curtis. |

Gayle Wilson Gayle joined the group in October 2010 as an AstraZeneca CASE funded PhD student investigating the use of PepT1 to improve the absorption of medicinal compounds. |
