Piano duo
Huw Watkins and Tom Poster have recently embarked on an exciting project working together as a piano duo. Both are pianists who have established themselves as integral to the British music scene and in great demand as chamber musicians and as soloists at festivals and concert series at home and abroad.
Huw and Tom are both passionate about contemporary repertoire, and are both composers in their own right. This is often reflected in their programmes in which they strive to bring new pieces to new audiences, such as Helen Grime’s Entwined Channels, alongside the classic piano duo repertoire.
This piano duo combines ‘sound-magician’ Tom Poster (General-Anzeiger) and Huw Watkins’ ‘outstanding pianism’ (The Guardian) to astounding effect.
