A madman calls out to his master, and Count Dracula is about to answer him. Dracula, an adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel by Liz Lochhead, is set in 1893 and the action takes place in Whitby, Hungary and London with young solicitor Jonathan Harker journeying to meet the Count to do what he thinks is some routine business. The vampire has designs on Harker’s young heiress wife Mina and her sister Lucy, but can Harker ably assisted by his friend Arthur Seward and Van Helsing stop the Count before he unleashes his terror on one and all? Sex, blood and death will adorn the stage that Dracula haunts.

Keele Drama Society is a student run, and student focused society. It gives students the opportunity not only to perform, but to write, direct, create costumes, become tech wizards, do press and publicity, or even run a society! It is an inclusive society that is incredibly hard working, creating five performances a year, but still has time to hold a wide variety of great socials as well.
