"Make it a Keele Big Day Out!"

Rendezvous on the River coincides with "one of the world’s best-loved pageants", the Lord Mayor's Show.

BIG DAY OUT STAGE ONE: Cheer Keele's float and students for our first-ever appearance in the Lord Mayor's procession... at least thirty Keele students in outfits and costumes are guaranteed to raise the loudest roar - pack the crowd!

BIG DAY OUT STAGE TWO: Spend a convivial afternoon in London with your Keele pals and have some food before....

BIG DAY OUT STAGE TWO-AND-A-HALF (MAYBE): We hope to organise a visit of the Inns of Court, including a chat and tour by the vicar in the Da Vinci Code movie... This is the Temple of the Knights Templar who gave their name to the student bar at the Hawthorns (among their lesser accomplishments). Keele was once a Templar estate so this is ideal for Keele. Numbers limited - await confirmation before booking.

BIG DAY OUT STAGE THREE: Join us afloat and cruise the Mighty Thames in convivial company - you might just win one of the limited edition hoodies worn by our students in the Lord Mayor's Show procession. No speeches, no presentations -  just a chance to rub shoulders and exchange gossip and memories with Keele pals. No catering aboard - bars and disco and river cruise only.

If you have ever said:  "We must get together" and then struggled to fix the time and a place Keele in the City is the perfect solution.
