NAFKU Scholarships and Bursaries
NAFKU Scholarships
Since 2010 NAFKU Scholarships has help to fund an approved postgraduate course for American and Canadians students at Keele University.
Any American and Canadian citizen will be eligible to apply who meets the entry requirements of the relevant course and has sufficient other funding to meet the costs of the one-year course.
Applicants will show evidence of scholarly, academic or professional excellence and give good reasons for wishing to pursue study at Keele University.
Since 2011 the NAFKU Scholarship has run in parallel with programmes offering further opportunities – the Fulbright Commission and the Marshall Commission.
NAFKU Scholarships are currently the equivalent of $4,000 US exchanged in Pounds GBP.
North American Bursaries
Bursaries are available to American and Canadian graduates applying for postgraduate study at Keele University (conditions apply):
- Bursaries may contribute up to 10% of tuition fees
North American Partner University Bursaries
Bursaries are available to American and Canadian graduates of one of Keele University's partner universities applying for postgraduate study at Keele University :
- Bursaries may contribute up to 25% of tuition fees
North American Study Abroad Bursaries
Bursaries are available to American and Canadian students applying for postgraduate study at Keele University who have completed a Study Abroad programme at Keele from one of its partner universities in North America:
- Bursaries may contribute up to 50% of tuition fees

American supporters:
The North American Foundation for Keele University Inc is an autonomous charitable foundation enabling tax-efficient donations by American taxpayers. It is a 501(3)(c) organsiation recognised by the IRS.

Canadian supporters:
Keele University has applied for Schedule VIII status with the CRA for tax-efficient donations made directly to Keele University.
