Requesting Marketing Support

The Marketing Team can provide faculties and central services with support and advice on short and long term marketing activity. For the most effective campaigns, it is much better to brief in your project at the earliest point possible, though we will always try to support you in urgent circumstances.

If you would like marketing and design support, please follow the steps below: 

1. Get in touch

Contact the Marketing Manager or your key contact in the first instance to arrange an initial  meeting.

2. Plan

We’ll have an initial discussion about your project needs and what you are looking to achieve. If possible, please bring along a completed Briefing Form at this stage. If your project requires further discussion, we can complete this form together as the project's aims and objectives are clarified. 

3. Analysis and Research

If analysis and research is required to support your project, we will use it to assist and shape the action plan.

4. Action

Your key contact will then project-manage your marketing plan, helping to focus its aims and objectives and outlining the next steps.

5. Implementation

We'll work with you to finalise all of the requirements for creative work, setting out deadlines for text, images and page plans. Once these have been provided and the initial designs are complete, we will present you with proofs, scheduling time for amends and sign off. We will also project-manage any elements of the plan that need to be ‘brokered’ out to other facilities within the MAC directorate, such as press, web, alumni relations etc...

6. Delivery

Following your sign off, the planned activity will be actioned according to the agreed timescales.
To ensure we hit deadlines, it is important to remember that everything has been provided in advance. For example, if you have print that requires distribution, your mailing list will need to be sent over to the printers in an accurate and timely fashion.

7. Evaluation

Once the project is completed, we will work with you to evaluate its success and inform future activity.
